Ghost Ponies

Ghost Ponies is a wandering American and vintage/modern songstress. Her music is grown from many times and places, rooted in Delta blues, classic soul and psychedelic folk. Her sound is windswept, thinky, and deeply feminine, all smoky vocals and warm retro-electrics. She came of age as an Americana songwriter in the Antifolk scene of early 2000’s NYC, fronted Brooklyn psych-grunge act Tiny Beast, dipped a toe into Nashville alt-country and packed up for distant pastures. She is now based in Cape Town.
